Filesize mismatch because you saved it with the wrong DDS settings.
Maybe in the program you should update it so that next to the name of every texture it has (DXT5) or whatever next to it so they cant lose it in the filename.

also i must exaggerate this so hard, Do not CONVERT DDS files to any other format, it will just possibly get rid of the alpha layer and ruin the quality and some other propertys when you reconvert it.

one question i extract battle EoF +6 it doesnt give me any dtx1-5 and i did as u said saved it in the format it was after that i tryed to import it but meh "Filesize mismatch". i thought the problem was from the program and tbh guess what IT WAS i just extract it and try to reinport it back without even open it with any of the PS GIMP or Paint.net and it said the same "File size mismatch" this might need some changes , oh and btw Faux good job man im Shin / Ishida from TFN cabal u might remember me ^^ Edit: i believe there is some posible size that should be saved itll be good if u put the option in the program to read the other sizes not only DTX1-5 or may be just make the program to extract all the files in DTX size this would prevent further problems like that one (ofc if its possible , im not somekind of program expert just guessing ^^)

A Question: When i export the Shadowsteel suit, or any other item, and draw a 2 Pixel big dot in red, and then save and then import, it says:
File size mismatch. Please choose correct file.
I know it is bigger /before: 128kb after: 129 kb/ , but all the sets i can download are working and they are completely changed. Hope anyone can help me.
BTW: if this is in wrong topic, i´m sorry.

Mind giving a bit more detail? ie. what software you're editing the DDS with, what plugin you're using to save it, if you're saving it in the same compression format as the original DDS file, etc.

I´m using Photoshop CS 3 Extendet with Nvidia DDS Plugin. I export the datas from Mr.Paint and open the DDS Files with Photoshop. I press CTRL + U and set Colour to red or something. Then i press CTRL + S (Save) and click Save. Nothing more.
